Our client is a fast-growing company who distribute a range of products throughout the UK.
Duties:
*Deliver high levels of customer care; taking account of operational changes and ensuring that arrangements are responsive to meet customer demands.
*Actively participate as a member of the Customer Service Team; and role-modelling desired behaviours in business
*Upskill and coach team members to ensure optimal performance on the individual and team.
*Work innovatively and collaborate across and between teams.
*Oversee order processing and customer enquiries to ensure high levels of service and quality to the customer.
*Manage customer back orders and communicate with both internal teams and customers to reduce lead times.
*Ensure all orders are thoroughly checked to reduce / eliminate processing errors.
*Investigate any processing errors and report to management team.
*Assist with transport schedule to ensure warehouse and drivers are aware of schedules to meet customer deliveries.
*Play a key part in emphasising the culture of the business; through driving ethical practice, promoting diversity and inclusion, and supporting employee wellbeing.
*Always Reducing wastage to reduce unnecessary costs.
*Ensure that work areas are always clean and tidy.
*Maintain own professional and personal development to ensure continued enjoyment of the role and consistent ’good practice’ delivery to the business.
*Work with colleagues from other departments and across other Group Business Areas
*Undertake any and all other duties as the business requires, in line with the responsibilities of the role, as may reasonably be requested from time to time.
The successful candidate:
*Able to deliver high levels of customer care.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*Highly developed analytical skills.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to use these in a range of contexts are essential.
*Good numerical skills are essential.
*Experience of using a range of ERP systems is desired.
*Intermediate skills in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) are essential.
*A willingness to learn and develop on a personal level is essential.
