Job Description:
Legal Cashier *Location: Ipswich
*Job Type: Full-time
*Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week with flexible options (8:00-16:00, 9:00-17:00, or 10:00-18:00)

Day-to-day of the role: *Manage and process financial transactions and client funds in compliance with legal regulations.
*Maintain accurate financial records and prepare reports on daily receipts and expenditures.
*Ensure compliance with the Solicitors’ Accounts Rules (SAR).
*Liaise with solicitors, clients, and other professionals to ensure smooth financial operations.
*Handle client billing, manage credit control, and perform bank reconciliations.
*Assist in the preparation of month-end and year-end accounts.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
*Experience in a legal cashier role or similar financial position within a legal environment - min 6 months experience plus
*Proficiency in legal accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
*Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, crucial for managing a varied workload.
*Ability to work independently and as an integral part of a team.
*Good communication skills, essential for interacting with clients and team members.
