About the Client:
Our client, a leading global insurance organisation, is looking for a proactive Business Analyst to join their dynamic Technology Team.
Role Overview:
As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the optimal use of the company’s hardware and software investments. You will provide essential software support to both business and technology teams, ensuring smooth operation and maximising the potential of in-house built/configured systems. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with multiple stakeholders across the organisation to maintain and enhance their technology landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide support for Office365, MS PowerPlatform, and the Policy Admin System (currently GlobalXB), logging and managing all issues in the Service Desk system (ServiceNow).
* Collaborate with the Service Desk team to resolve issues promptly, escalating to Technology Leadership when necessary.
* Adhere to change control procedures by coordinating software updates and training sessions with the Service Desk and Technology Leadership.
* Stay updated on developments in Microsoft 365, Azure DevOps, SharePoint, and PowerPlatform, distributing relevant software release notes and maintaining communication with all involved parties.
* Work closely with the Business Systems Development and Analyst teams to support their builds, ensuring seamless integration and functionality across systems.
Requirements:
* Experience in the Lloyd’s Insurance Market and General Insurance Broking/Underwriting.
* Familiarity with Insurance Policy Admin Systems, Microsoft Office, Azure DevOps, and Microsoft 365.
* Essential skills include Microsoft PowerPlatform.
* Good interpersonal and presentation skills.
* ITIL Foundation certification is desirable.
* Basic SQL Reporting knowledge is advantageous.
Position in Company:
This role reports to the Manager - Business Systems and involves close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders to support and integrate technology solutions effectively.
