Position Overview
This is a key senior role within PIMCO’s Irish Funds Legal team, which provides legal support to PIMCO’s Irish UCITS and AIF fund complexes, and their global distribution, as well as ManCo, Board governance support.
PIMCO is looking for an experienced Irish funds lawyer, to be based in Dublin, who will take responsibility for a broad range of legal work relating to its Irish funds and broader regulated activities, including supporting regulatory interactions and governance processes.
Essential Job Functions
Key areas of responsibility will include: *Team management, including supervising work and providing guidance and support to team members, ensuring a consistent solutions-focused approach
*Coordination of offering documentation updates, from setting up new funds to changes to existing funds and fund terminations, along with co-ordination relating to global regulatory filings and shareholder engagement
*Coordination of review and amendments to fund agreements including investment management agreements, distribution agreements and other fund related agreements
*Advising management/DPs of the Manco on issues arising from time to time, including advising on any regulatory interactions and notifications
*Working closely with internal and external stakeholders in relation to the preparation for, and running of, fund/ManCo Board meetings and DP meetings
*General legal support for the functioning and processes of the legal team
*Providing an exceptional level of service to clients
*Coordination of processes with key internal and external stakeholders including client facing teams, funds team, business management, service providers and outside counsel
Desirable *Ideally, 5-10 years of relevant experience in a similar role in a global UCITS investment manager
*Excellent interpersonal skills (with the ability to communicate in a clear and succinct manner)
*High degree of client service orientation and responsiveness
*Collaborative, professional and team player essential
*Good attention to detail
*High degree of personal and professional integrity
*Ability to organise and deliver under tight deadlines
