Finance Transformation Director
12 Month Fixed Term Contract (view to extend)

About the Role:
Partnering with a Global Technology plc to revolutionise their finance function. This pivotal role will involve a thorough assessment of existing processes, systems, policies, and operations (such as PTP, OTC, and R2R), which is currently not fit for purpose.
The successful candidate will spearhead a significant transformation, addressing critical shortcomings and driving operational excellence.
You will be instrumental in:
*Strategic Vision: Developing and executing a comprehensive roadmap to achieve best-in-class finance operations.
*Operational Excellence: Identifying and addressing operational inefficiencies and system limitations to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
*Team Leadership: Building and leading a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
*Change Management: Driving change management initiatives across the Finance function, ensuring smooth transitions and stakeholder buy-in.
*Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partnering with key stakeholders across various business units to align strategies and ensure successful implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
*Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the current finance function, identifying opportunities for improvement and digital transformation.
*Develop and implement a robust transformation roadmap, prioritising initiatives and setting clear timelines.
*Lead the execution of the transformation plan, overseeing project timelines and ensuring successful delivery.
*Drive process optimisation and automation, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
*Implement robust controls and compliance frameworks to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory adherence.
*Foster a data-driven culture, utilising analytics to inform decision-making and identify trends.
*Build and lead a high-performing team, providing coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities.
Required Skills and Experience:
*Extensive experience leading and executing finance transformations, ideally within a complex, global organisation/ plc.
*Deep understanding of finance processes and operations, including PTP, OTC, and R2R.
*Proven track record of successfully implementing ERP systems, such as NetSuite.
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and develop innovative solutions.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
*Strong leadership and change management skills, with the ability to drive organisational change and motivate teams.
*Advanced proficiency in financial analysis and reporting.
*A strong understanding of relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
