Job Description:
The client are a global fashion retail brand that are looking for a Finance Assistant to join the team on a permanent basis. The role reports directly into the Senior Management Accountant and the successful candidate will have the chance to get involved in lots of month-end work, as well as oversee the transnational finance side. The head office is based in the West End (Oxford Circus).

The client are a well-known fashion retail brand that are looking for a Finance Assistant (with prior experience working in the fashion industry) to join the team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will work in a team of 6 people and will be supervising one junior member of the team, whilst assisting the Senior Management Accountant with the month-end close and reporting cycle.
Description
The successful Finance Assistant will:
*Assist with the monthly preparation of the monthly management accounts (alongside the Senior Management Accountant)
*Accruals and prepayments
*VAT returns
*Balance sheet reconciliations
*End to end management of the Accounts Payable ledger
*Assisting with the budgeting and forecasting
*Variance analysis with commentary - Actual vs Budget analysis
*Ad hoc reporting
Profile
The successful candidate will:
*Have 1-2 years of prior experience in finance within a fashion retail business
*Be studying towards the ACCA or CIMA qualification
*Have strong Excel skills
*Prior working knowledge of the system SAP (desirable, not essential)
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Confident and eager to grow through the business
