Role Overview The Finance Assistant will support both the Accounting and Business Affairs teams, ensuring smooth financial operations and contributing to the company’s growth.
Key Responsibilities:
*Process supplier invoices and staff expenses for payment.
*Manage the company’s sales ledger and issue sales invoices.
*Reconcile bank accounts.
*Assist in preparing payroll.
*Prepare financial analyses and reconciliations for corporate and project needs.
*Maintain collection accounts for financing initiatives.
*Support in preparing income statements, balance sheets, and management reports under supervision.
About You We’re seeking a detail-oriented, organised individual with a passion for the creative industries.
Essential Requirements:
*Proficiency with Xero accounting software.
*Experience in the creative industries, ideally within film or TV.
*Payroll management experience.
*Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
*High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
*Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
*Ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks in a high-speed environment.
Desirable:
*Passion for cinema and interest in the entertainment sector.
