Job Description:
Teqniq is searching for a Workshop Technician Assistantto work in the public sector.
35 hours per week.
3 months contract.
14:00-22:00
Job Description:
1. Assisting all colleagues in Workshops/Fleet including bodybuilder/spraying/running repairs/LGV & HGV technicians to complete tasks.
2. Keeping all Workshop areas clean and tidy and where appropriate test and maintain workshop equipment in compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
3. Loading and operating various equipment and machinery with training and supervision.
4. Willing to train and progress through various related courses.
5. Distribute and arrange the storage of materials and equipment for workshops and assist in pricing, ordering and stock control where appropriate.
6. Carry out all duties with awareness of Health and Safety responsibilities and follow existing risk assessments.
7. Maintain, distribute and arrange the storage and repair of all materials components and specialist equipment in workshops.
8. Take responsibility for the security of workshops, tools, equipment and any materials used within the workshop areas.
