Job Description:
We are pleased to offer an opportunity for a Senior Installation Supervisor to join a well-established team, supporting installations across Hampshire and the South Coast.
This role involves leading by example to ensure the safe, effective, and efficient delivery of installation projects. You will supervise and mentor installation teams, manage projects to meet quality standards, timelines, and budgets, and act as a key point of contact for clients, internal teams, and contractors.
This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership, excellent organisational skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and operational excellence.
The successful candidate must be willing to travel across the south of the UK as required and work in environments involving heights, confined spaces, and water treatment sites.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
*Oversee and direct installation teams, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to required standards.
*Manage and control on-site confined space projects, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
*Actively participate in and lead project meetings to discuss schedules, resources, and potential challenges.
*Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and provide guidance, making adjustments to schedules and resources as necessary.
*Supervise team members to ensure they meet job responsibilities, providing regular feedback, performance evaluations, and development opportunities.
*Mentor and coach team members to foster a culture of excellence, safety, and continuous improvement.
*Ensure all team members are compliant with company policies, safe systems of work, and relevant regulations.
*Liaise with the Installation Manager to communicate project progress, identify potential issues, and ensure alignment with company objectives.
*Conduct on-site risk assessments and oversee the preparation and communication of RAMS processes.
*Deliver effective handovers to clients, ensuring all installation documentation and safety guidelines are understood and adhered to.
*Maintain accurate records of project activities and ensure all documentation is completed and submitted in a timely manner.
Skills & Experience Required:
*Demonstrable experience successfully supervising and developing on-site teams.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to resolve conflicts and motivate teams.
*Proven ability to mentor, coach, and train team members to achieve high standards.
*Excellent organisational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
*Analytical and problem-solving skills with sound judgment and proactive decision-making abilities.
*NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Site Supervision is advantageous.
*CSCS Gold Card (Supervisor) is essential.
*Clean Water Hygiene and Confined Space certifications are highly desirable.
*Flexibility to travel and stay away overnight as required by the business.
*A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.
