My client is a highly regarded boutique investment bank specialising in delivering tailored advisory services within the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) sector. With a proven track record of executing complex, high-impact transactions, the firm offers an entrepreneurial and collaborative environment where Analysts play a critical role in deal execution and overall team success.
Position Overview:
My client is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Investment Banking (M&A) Analyst to join their TMT team. This role provides the opportunity to work on prominent cross-border and domestic M&A transactions, conduct in-depth financial analysis, and gain exposure to innovative companies in the TMT sector.
Key Responsibilities:
*Deal Execution: Assist in the execution of M&A transactions, including valuation analysis, due diligence, and preparation of transaction materials.
*Financial Modeling: Build and maintain detailed financial models to support valuation, forecasting, and scenario analysis for potential transactions.
*Research and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive industry and company research to identify market trends and strategic opportunities in the TMT sector.
*Presentation Development: Prepare and deliver high-quality presentations and pitch materials for client meetings and new business development.
*Client Interaction: Support senior bankers in maintaining and developing client relationships by delivering timely insights and exceptional service.
Qualifications:
*Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. Strong academic performance is essential.
*Experience: 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or a related field. Prior experience in TMT sectors is essential. Experience from a bulge bracket, tier 1 or elite boutique would be advantageous as you will be working on large cap deals.
*Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with valuation techniques, including DCF, comparable companies, and precedent transactions.
*Soft Skills: Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
*Passion for TMT: A genuine interest in the TMT sector, with an eagerness to learn about the latest industry trends and market developments.
