Job Description:
An established manufacturing company is recruiting a Stock Control Manager to join their expanding business. Reporting into the Supply Chain Director your remit will be to ensure the effective governance of all stock control related procedures.
Key duties include:
*Understanding the current stock systems and procedures to identify bottle necks and successfully resolve.
*Staff management and development.
*Effective communication with sales, purchasing, production, finance, additional sites and distribution.
*Ensuring stock availability for Customers; weekly stock counts, reconciliations, analysis and reporting.
*Working to and developing KPIs to improve stock control and accuracy
*Working with Warehouse Shift Managers to ensure that staff follow procedures and health and safety standards.
To be successful in this role you will be up for a challenge, want to change and improve operations and staff for the better, have great communication skills with effective leadership and stock management experience. With a resource planning and data management background you will be used to working with ERP and WMS systems, making the right decisions and have superb problem solving skills.
