Job Description:
This is an exciting opportunity to lead critical changes in control room operations as a SCADA Data Insight Lead. By leveraging advanced tools like GeoSCADA and other Operational Technology systems, you’ll play a key role in improving how vital operational data is utilized. In this role, you will drive positive change, enhance system performance, and significantly impact our regulatory achievements—all while collaborating with a diverse, fast-paced team.

What you’ll be doing as a SCADA Data Insight Lead *Utilizing SCADA systems daily, including SCADA change, alarm management, telemetry replacement, delivery of identified efficiencies, and SCADA data analysis.
*Working closely with stakeholders to implement and embed key principles from industry-wide guidelines and internal standards.
*Supporting the Control Room team by optimizing the use of GeoSCADA and other Operational Technology tools, enabling better insights into operational data presented by telemetry systems.
*Acting as an integral part of the Systems Operations leadership team, providing technical support to control room teams to enhance the use of SCADA/Operational Technology systems across remotely monitored sites.
*Identifying opportunities for optimizing alarm configuration to reduce operational risk, in line with established standards.
*Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality changes to control room systems and ensure seamless integration into business-as-usual operations.
*Leading investigations into non-compliances and implementing preventative actions and improvements to enhance system integrity.
Base Location: Kemble Court, Reading (hybrid)
Working hours: This role is based on a 36-hour workweek, typically from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexibility in start and finish times.

What you should bring to the role *A HNC or Degree in a STEM subject.
*Experience with GeoSCADA (preferred) or other SCADA systems (essential).
*A solid understanding of key alarm management principles and techniques.
*Familiarity with operational business environments, ideally within the water industry or similar sectors, with experience in handling data to inform decisions.
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply structure and logic to complex issues.
*Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting technical information and data-driven insights to a non-technical audience.
What’s in it for you? *Competitive salary from £36,400 to £48,000 per annum depending on skills and experience
