Location: Altrincham, Manchester
Salary: £14.17 per hour
Working Hours: Tuesday to Saturday, 9am - 5pm (Shop open from 10am - 4:30pm)
Duration: Temporary, until the end of January 2025
Start Date: Ideally next week
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Charity Shop Manager to oversee the daily operations of a busy charity shop. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team, manage stock, and make a positive impact in the community while supporting vital charitable work.
Key Responsibilities:
*Maximise shop income and meet performance targets
*Oversee shop operations, including stock management, pricing, and displays
*Lead and manage a team of volunteers, ensuring effective training and ongoing engagement
*Handle financial and administrative tasks, including daily reconciliation and performance tracking
*Ensure excellent customer service and a welcoming shopping experience
*Comply with all health and safety regulations
Ideal Candidate:
*Proven experience in retail or charity shop management
*Strong leadership and team management skills
*Excellent organisational, financial, and communication abilities
