Job Description:
Our client, a commercial and retail bank, has an opening for a Governance Risk Manager to join their team. This client is a forward thinking organisation, and offers tailored career development and training opportunities.
About the role:
*Partner with teams to ensure effective review and challenge of consumer committee and forum materials
*Facilitate key Consumer Duty governance committees
*Lead governance improvement programmes across the Risk Office and wider business
*Analyse insights from customer journey testing and other sources to identify key themes and share findings with senior stakeholders
*Advocate for customers, using internal and external insights to inform recommendations
About you:
*Experience in risk management, particularly internal risk practices
*Strong understanding of customer regulation and Consumer Duty principles
*Ability to analyse qualitative and quantitative data, delivering actionable insights
*Excellent stakeholder management skills with a collaborative and influential approach
*Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality reports and presentations
*Strong judgement and the ability to assess and recommend actions on diverse risks
*Critical thinking skills and a passion for improving customer outcomes
