Role Responsibilities *Managing a portfolio of clients, acting as the main point of contact for their accounting and advisory needs
*Supervising the preparation of accounts for small and medium-sized businesses, including statutory accounts
*Reviewing and advising on corporation tax returns and VAT submissions
*Providing tailored business and tax planning advice to help clients achieve their goals
*Supporting the Partners with strategic projects and day-to-day responsibilities
*Delegating work to and mentoring junior team members, ensuring high-quality output
*Monitoring internal budgets and ensuring deadlines are met
*Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, addressing their queries and concerns promptly

Candidate Requirements *ACA or ACCA qualification, or be qualified by experience
*At least 5 years of recent experience in an accountancy practice
*Strong technical skills in accounts preparation, tax compliance, and business advisory
*Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple client relationships
*Proficiency in MS Office; experience with CCH, Xero, or similar software is advantageous
*A proactive approach to solving problems and meeting client needs
*A collaborative attitude with the ability to lead and mentor a team
