Job Description:
Global Commercial Manager
3 days a week onsite in Central London offices
A top media services company is looking for a Global Commercial Manager.
The Global Commercial team works with top multi-market clients to help build contractually sound and profitable long-term client relationships. You will be focused on RFPs and commercial proposals for the largest, strategically important pitches.
Responsibilities:
You will manage a portfolio of global clients across commercial, contractual, and reporting initiative
* Working with the Global Commercial Director to support on a number of new business pitches,
Example tasks include:
* Developing and negotiating remuneration proposals for new global clients across several markets, including pricing out staff plans to determine healthy fees.
* Analysing proposed client fees to understand and assess profitability and problem areas at both the local and global level.
* Supporting global contract negotiations on commercial topics, such as media rebates and incentives, time sheets and fee reconciliations, unbilled media, etc.
* Distribution and communication of global client contracts post-award and helping to improve local markets’ understanding and compliance of key contract terms.
* Working with Global Commercial Directors on international contract negotiations
Skills and Behaviours:
* Very strong analytical and quantitative skills.
* Proven ability to translate complex ideas and data into layman’s terms for the greater audience.
* Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills.
* Strong understanding of financial concepts such as revenue, costs, profit, invoicing, and cash flow
* Ability to work in a team environment that promotes collaboration, and the ability to work independently and take ownership over assignments.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: * You will have experience in commercial-related fields, client finance, or business affairs.
* Ideally media or creative agency experience
* Exposure to multiple markets is a plus.
* Very strong Microsoft Excel skills (advanced level).
