Description
Working in a high performing Commercial Finance function, you will
*Partner with senior management to provide financial leadership and guidance on cost management strategies.
*Oversee the preparation of cost budgets, forecasts, and cost optimisation plans.
*Perform deep-dive analysis of cost structures, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
*Provide recommendations to mitigate cost risks and improve cost efficiency across departments.
*Ensure that cost-related financial reporting is accurate, timely, and aligned with business objectives.
*Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, procurement, IT, Facilities, NPD) to implement cost control initiatives.
*Support the preparation of financial models to assess the impact of strategic decisions on costs.
*Develop and maintain strong relationships with business leaders to understand their financial needs and challenges.
*Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to junior team members.
Profile
You will be a graduate qualified accountant with strong commercial acumen, complemented by sharp analytical skills and a high degree of credibility, enabling you to effectively manage a diverse stakeholder community.
You will be accustomed to working at pace in a matrix reporting structure.
