Receptionist / Telephonist
Manchester
Salary range: £24,000 - £28,000 p.a. (depending on skills and experience)
Permanent Role
Full time
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm (1-hour unpaid lunch break) - flexible arrangements will be considered
Holidays: 25 per year plus Bank Holidays (rising with length of service)

Our client is one of the largest barristers’ chambers in the country and they pride themselves on providing an excellent standard of client services and care. They have beautiful, refurbished premises on St John Street in Manchester which they seek to maintain and present to the highest standard.
They are looking for an enthusiastic and professional receptionist and telephonist to present an excellent first impression to callers and visitors to Chambers. This role is split between their telephone switchboard room and front of house reception, and forms part of the ’first point of contact’ team in their Manchester site. This team also looks after conference and lounge facilities, ensuring meeting rooms are appropriately allocated, refreshments prepared and set out, technical facilities switched on and that rooms are cleaned down and prepared following meetings/events.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced, friendly, well-presented and efficient telephonist and/or receptionist who enjoys working in a fast-paced, professional environment. Excellent communication skills, a flexible and willing approach to the range of tasks, and experience of carrying out a similar role in a professional services organisation are essential.
