Job Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Compliance Manager to join our dynamic and forward-thinking team in the asset management sector. This role is focused on ensuring the company’s operations comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies, maintaining the legality and consistency of business practices. This is a permanent, full-time position.
Key Responsibilities:
*Oversee the implementation of the company’s compliance policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with industry regulations and best practices.
*Act as the main point of contact for all regulatory matters, including license applications, audits, and official communications.
*Support the response to regulatory inspections and investigations, addressing compliance issues and resolving complaints.
*Stay informed of regulatory updates and industry trends, adjusting compliance strategies as needed.
*Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments to identify potential issues.
*Provide compliance training to employees to ensure understanding and adherence to relevant regulations and internal policies.
*Regularly report compliance status to senior management, offering recommendations for improvements.
Qualifications:
*A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Law, or a related field.
*At least 5 years of compliance experience within the financial asset management sector.
*In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance management.
*Extensive experience in compliance audits, risk control, and internal controls.
*Relevant certifications in compliance (e.g., CFA, CIA, CRCM) are preferred.
*Experience with financial regulatory authorities (e.g., FCA or similar) is highly desirable.
*Familiarity with compliance and regulatory practices in the cryptocurrency industry is a plus.
