Position: Arabic-Speaking ESOL Tutor
Location: Redbridge,East London
Type: Part-Time / Flexible Hours
Salary: Competitive, based on experience - Up to £35ph
The Role:
We are looking for a fluent Arabic-speaking ESOL tutor to support adult learners in improving their English language skills. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching English as a second language and a strong ability to connect with learners whose first language is Arabic.
Responsibilities:
*Plan and deliver engaging ESOL lessons tailored to the needs of Arabic-speaking learners.
*Provide one-to-one and small group support to improve reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
*Assess learners’ progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
*Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
*Offer cultural understanding and support to help learners integrate into the local community.
Requirements:
*Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
*Experience teaching ESOL or a relevant qualification (e.g., CELTA, TESOL).
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to motivate and inspire learners.
*Flexibility to adapt teaching methods to individual learner needs.
