Job Description:
Location: Predominantly West Yorkshire, with scope for North Yorkshire
Rate:
Up to £30 per hour (Umbrella)
About Us:
We have partnered with a housing association in West Yorkshire, currently seeking an experienced and proactive Interim Surveyor to support their repairs and maintenance team.
Key Responsibilities:
*Conducting property inspections to identify necessary repairs and maintenance.
*Preparing detailed reports and schedules of work required.
*Managing and overseeing contractors to ensure work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timelines.
*Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
*Liaising with residents to address their concerns and provide updates on repair progress.
*Maintaining accurate records of all inspections, works, and communications.
Requirements:
*Proven experience in a similar role within the housing sector.
*Strong knowledge of building construction, maintenance, and repair techniques.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*The ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
*Proficiency in using relevant IT systems and software.
*A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.
