We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate, Audit to join their Audit/Assurance team in Manchester. This role is ideal for those eager to grow in a dynamic, inclusive, and innovative environment.
Responsibilities:
*Delivering client-based assignments with precision and professionalism.
*Assisting in the planning, execution, and finalization of all areas of audit assignments.
*Producing work for review by senior staff, highlighting issues, and proposing solutions.
*Managed day-to-day client communication and acted as a trusted point of contact.
*Identifying opportunities for business process improvements and preparing Audit Findings Reports.
*Coaching and mentoring junior team members, providing on-the-job training.
*Ensuring adherence to the firm’s risk management policies and procedures.
Role Requirements
The ideal candidate will bring a combination of technical knowledge, client service skills, and a passion for continuous learning. Key requirements include:
*Progress towards ACA/ACCA qualification.
*Significant auditing and accounting experience, ideally under UK GAAP.
*Exposure to corporate clients is desirable.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and ideally Caseware.
*Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
*Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
*A proactive and enthusiastic attitude toward achieving results and personal development.
