Job Description:
Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Do you have a heart for helping every child reach their full potential? Dunbar Education is looking for a dedicated KS2 SEN Teaching Assistant to join one of our partner schools on a full-time basis, starting immediately after October half term.
Role Overview:
*Position: KS2 SEN Teaching Assistant
*Start Date: January 2025
*Contract Type: Full-Time
*Location: Telford
*Working Hours: 8:30-3:30
Key Responsibilities:
*Provide 1:1 and small group support to KS2 pupils with SEN
*Assist in the delivery of tailored learning activities, in collaboration with the class teacher
*Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
*Help with classroom management and behavioural support
*Work closely with SENCO and other professionals to ensure the best care and education for each child
What We’re Looking For:
*Experience working with children with SEN (preferred)
*A patient, compassionate, and understanding approach
*Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
*Enthusiasm and a commitment to supporting children’s learning
*Relevant qualifications (desirable but not essential)
