Elevation Recruitment Group are partnering exclusively with a leading business in Sheffield to recruit a Management Accountant for an initial 6-month contract.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic finance team and contribute to the continued success of the business.
Key Responsibilities: 
*Prepare and present accurate monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
*Assist with the preparation of financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
*Support the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to drive business strategy
*Analyse variances between actual performance and budget, providing actionable insights to improve business performance
*Manage VAT returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations
*Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and financial regulations
*Provide ad hoc support to the Finance Director on key projects and business initiatives
Key Skills:
*Qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA Accountant or PQ
*Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
*Clear knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
*Strong business acumen, and the ability to influence people at all levels
