Do you possess technical expertise in the configuration and administration of Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM) software or similar applications?
Join our team as a Business Application Specialist and play a key role in optimising out software applications to meet the evolving needs of our Property and Assets directorate.
Salary: £33,945 to £36,648 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Pattern: Full-time (37 hours per week)
Location: County Hall, West Street, Chichester, PO19 1RQ (flexible and hybrid working)
Interview Date: Week commencing 06 January 2025
Interviews will be conducted throughout December. If a successful candidate is selected, this opportunity will no longer be available. All applicants will be notified of the outcome.
The role will offer hybrid working arrangements where there will be opportunities to work from home. You will be predominantly based at County Hall Chichester with the occasional requirement to travel across the county. Final arrangements will be confirmed with successful candidate.
You will need to be able to travel independently around the county, including to areas that may not be easily accessible by public transport. Pool cars and pool bikes available.
The Opportunity
As a vital member of our team, you will analyse business requirements, configure, and customise applications and provide technical support to ensure seamless operations.
On a day-to-day basis, you can look forward to:
*Deliver a dedicated professional IT service while proudly taking on responsibility for one or more stages of the application development and support lifecycle.
*Taking action to understand the needs of customers and colleagues and ensuring these are met when taking actions or making decisions.
*Being responsible for translating technical specifications and business requirements into precise work specifications or thoughtful recommendations with a diligent, professional, and meticulous approach.
*Working individually or as part of a project team liaising with clients, colleagues, partners, and suppliers to ensure the effective delivery of system solutions.
