Behaviour Mentors - PRU - South East London - £85-100 per day - ASAP Start - Long term - Secondary year groups - SEMH - SEN Setting
Are you passionate about supporting young people with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs? Do you want to make a meaningful impact in a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) setting? We’re looking for committed and compassionate Behaviour Mentors to join our team in South London!
Position: Behaviour Mentor
Location: South East London
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (8:30 am - 4:00 pm)
Contract: Long-term commitment required
About the Role - Behaviour Mentors
As a Behaviour Mentor, you’ll work closely with students who have SEMH needs, guiding and supporting them in managing challenges and achieving personal and educational goals. Your role will be instrumental in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters resilience and growth.
*Experience in an SEMH or PRU setting
*Strong understanding of the challenges faced by young people with SEMH needs
*Patience, resilience, and a genuine desire to help students succeed
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Ability to commit to full-time hours and a long-term role
The School - Behaviour Mentor
This school is a PRU/SEMH setting based in Lewisham. They cater to seondary students with social, emotional mental health, behaviour challenges. They are based near great transport links - DLR, Overground and bus routes.
They provide an inclusive and dynamic learning environment for young vulnerable people acress key stages 3 & 4
