RG consultancy are working with a growing wholesaler based in Manchester who are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join them on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to develop as there is future progression opportunities available.
Duties include:
*General ledger reconciliations
*Accruals & pre-payments
*Monthly preparation and reconciliation.
*Fixed Assets and depreciation
*Monthly and annual review.
*Assist with management account preparation
*Set up new supplier accounts in various currencies
*Sales analysis and investigation
*Forecasting - monthly forecasting of sales, cost of sales and cash flow.
*Budgeting - annual review, reconciliation and investigation of sales, cost of sales and cash flow.
*Production costing and stock valuations.
*Daily posting of all payments in GBP/USD/EUR
*Production variance investigation.
*Liaise with all parties both internal staff and external contracts at all levels, to resolve all aspects of the job.
*Ensure closure of General Ledger within four working days of month end.
