Acquisition Accountant - London - £62,000 plus bonus - 2/3 Days in office

About the Job:
This role is pivotal in integrating newly acquired businesses into the organisation, ensuring financial control and accuracy throughout the process. Reporting to the Head of Integration and Acquisition Accounting, you will play a key role in supporting the business during an exciting period of growth and development.
Please note that the client is not able to offer sponsorship with this role.
Duties will include:
*Leading the integration of finance activities for newly acquired entities.
*Acting as the key finance contact for integration-related matters.
*Resolving finance and accounts queries arising during due diligence.
*Aligning acquired business accounting policies with group standards.
*Reviewing and implementing internal controls within acquired entities.
*Managing reporting integration into the group timetable.
*Overseeing the business transfer process, VAT registration, and supplier communications.
*Handling acquisition-related balance sheet calculations and journal entries.
*Supporting legal entity wind-down processes, including balance sheet clearance and final tax calculations.
About the Successful Applicant:
You will be a newly qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) . Adept at building strong relationships across teams, you will have excellent analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Experience with integrations, multiple platforms, and a keen eye for process improvement are essential.
