The Warehouse Coordinator will be a crucial part of the logistics team, ensuring efficient and effective operations within their new site in Rugby based transport & distribution centre. The role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of coordinating and overseeing warehouse activities.
Description
The Warehouse Coordinator will be responsible for the below
*Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse activities
*Implement operational policies and procedures
*Ensure efficient use of warehouse space
*Maintain safety and cleanliness standards
*Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
*Coordinate the handling of freight, the movement of equipment, and necessary minor repairs
*Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, and delivery times
*Prepare and present reports on warehouse efficiency
Profile
A successful Warehouse Coordinator should have:
*Strong knowledge of warehouse data systems
*Excellent coordination skills
*The ability to multitask and meet deadlines
*Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems
*Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations
*An understanding of health and safety regulations
*Experience in driving few forklift trucks such as counterbalance and PPT
*Ability to work Monday to Friday, 12nn - 8pm
