Job Description:
Arcas Technology is partnered with a leading MSP who are currently looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join their business on a permanent basis.
Are you a skilled Infrastructure Support Engineer looking to advance your career in a dynamic and innovative environment? My client is seeking a talented professional to join their growing team. Responsibilities:
*Proactively monitor server performance, ensuring optimal CPU, memory, and disk usage.
*Address infrastructure anomalies swiftly, enhancing availability and stability.
*Serve as a 3rd line escalation point, resolving complex infrastructure and end-user computing issues.
*Diagnose and fix hardware faults, performance issues, and virtualisation challenges.
*Manage and optimise environments including Windows Server 2019+, Linux-based systems, and VMware/Nutanix virtualisation platforms.
*Oversee datastores, physical/logical networking, and security hardening of server environments.
*Conduct system health checks and physical inspections for resilience.
*Collaborate on project-based installations and deployments to integrate new systems seamlessly.
Key Skills:
*Windows Server Administration experience (2019+ preferred; certifications are a plus).
*Expertise in VMware and/or Nutanix.
*Knowledge of Windows 10 desktop management and configuration.
*Experience with Intune/AutoPilot for streamlined deployments.
*Familiarity with industry-standard security hardening practices (CyberEssentials, CI Security).
*Skills in documentation for server builds, storage configurations, and key application setups.
*Linux Administration experience is a bonus.
