The Role
As a Behaviour Learning Support Assistant, you will:
*Work closely with students, offering tailored support to help them manage behaviour and emotions.
*Foster a positive, encouraging, and calm environment for learning.
*Assist in the classroom, adapting lessons and strategies to meet pupils’ individual needs.
*Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to provide holistic support.
*Celebrate every success, no matter how small, to build confidence and resilience.
We’re seeking someone who is:
*Compassionate and able to build trusting relationships with children.
*Resilient and able to stay calm under pressure.
*Adaptable to the dynamic needs of an SEMH environment.
*Team-Oriented, working collaboratively with staff and parents.
*Experienced in education, care, or supporting children with SEMH needs (preferred but not essential - training provided).
