Job Description:

Are you an experienced quality manager with auditing experience?
Are you available to travel the UK when required?
Job Summary
To provide the business, across all operational regions, with competent advice on matters relating to Quality Management. Further, to develop, implement, audit and train resource in the BS EN ISO 9001:2015 quality management system.
To advise on measures to reduce and control risk in relation to Quality; to facilitate co-operation and communication in such matters.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
• To assist in executing and fulfilling the requirements of the company’s Safety, Health, Environment & Quality Policies with particular emphasis on Quality
• To organise and manage workload based on SHEQ Directors expectations and act in an independent professional manner
• To advise and assist in the review of and implementation of company policies, procedures, processes and mechanical QA practices taking into account the nature of the risk presented by them and identifying and implementing reasonably practicable control measures
• Assist in the development of project specific quality plans and quality reports across all disciplines
• Formulate and implement an internal and external quality audit schedule
• To undertake active monitoring in the form of site visits with regard to compliance with the company SHEQ Site Plan procedures with emphasis on Quality
• To undertake audits on suppliers rated significant’ on the company’s ASR to ensure that their processes are in line with ISO 9001:2015 standard.
• To investigate supplier and material non-conformances and ensure close out of actions
• To investigate customer complaints
• To identify the immediate and underlying root causes of any Quality non-conformances and customer complaints and identify and recommend preventive and corrective actions.
• To provide positive feedback and encourage best practice as appropriate.
• To report independently and diligently
• To assist in ISO external audits
• To formulate and submit a quarterly report to the SHEQ Director
• Represent the company in a professional manner when dealing with existing and prospective clients to ensure contract longevity
