A highly successful Multidisciplinary Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join their expanding team in Cardiff. Key Responsibilities of the Senior Structural Engineer include:
*Leading structural engineering projects, providing technical expertise, and ensuring successful project delivery.
*Managing resources, collaborating with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure high-quality project completion.
*Overseeing the design, analysis, and reporting of structural projects using tools such as Tekla Structural Designer (TSD), Tedds, AutoCAD, and REVIT (BIM).
*Staying up to date with CDM regulations, technical standards, and best practices in structural engineering.
*Representing the company at project meetings, maintaining strong communication with clients and stakeholders.
*Mentoring junior engineers, fostering their professional growth within the team.
*Managing time effectively to meet multiple project deadlines.
Required Skills & Qualifications for this Senior Structural Engineer include:
*At least 5 years of post-graduate experience.
*A relevant Engineering Degree (MEng, BEng Hons, or BSc).
*Chartered status with IStructE or ICE (or working towards).
*Proficiency in MS Office and structural analysis software (Tekla Structural Designer, Tedds, AutoCAD, and BIM experience with REVIT).
*Solid experience in resource management and project delivery, with a strong understanding of CDM regulations and technical standards.
*Excellent report writing, data interpretation, and communication skills.
*Strong leadership and time management abilities, with a proven track record of meeting deadlines and handling multiple projects.
