Job Description:
The City & Capital team are currently representing a highly respected & fast growing Bridging and BTL property finance lender who have retained our services to appoint a motivated and dilligent Business Analyst to the team at an exciting time.
Our client is extremely well-funded with increased investment driving a new round of growth which is set to take the business to the next level. Due to this they are keen to bolster their Change team with the appointment of an individual who will commence as an Business Analyst / Product Owner.
The Business Analyst role is a vital role within the Change team and you will be responsible for owning the technical specs and processes for all systems and processes as well as working very closely with 3rd party providers.
As this is a close knit team, the Business Analyst will have to perform multiple roles on the project team and will need to deliver work packages themselves, as well as provide the business analyses and requirements for the projects and changes. Our client use both agile and waterfall methodologies, depending on the provider used.
More important than experience of any particular model of delivery are the people skills needed to motivate, lead and really convey a passion for change across the group.
You will work hand in hand with the company wide heads of departments to ensure they have the tools to deliver a brilliant and bespoke borrower experience.
Duties of the role include:
*Report into and work closely with the firm’s Head of Change
*You be responsible for the end-to-end processes across the group, ensuring they are documented, kept up to date, and are constantly improved
*Produce first class business requirements and will have to demonstrate a great deal of experience of not just writing requirements, but bringing them to life for end users
*Ensuring that all requirements cover all stakeholders, are signed off appropriately, and that everyone is kept informed of all changes
*Creating a smooth transition from project into live, and you will need to develop close working relationships with all our BAU functions
*Promote a culture of change and of promoting change in the right way, ensuring all changes add value, are prioritised, documented correctly and are truly wanted by the business
*Ensuring our 3rd party software suppliers understand our requirements, sign them off and you will be responsible for holding them to account when they deliver them
*Ensuring changes are tested thoroughly and are fit for purpose, you will also be responsible for managing any required fixes and warranty periods.
*Most importantly you will be responsible for ensuring the changes we make are fit for purpose and that the end users love the changes given
The ideal individual for this role will have experience in Business Analysis and Change Management ideally within the Financial Services & Property Finance sector.
You will be proactive in your approach, comfortable working with multiple projects & will demonstrate an outstanding attention to detail and will be comfortable and confident in communicating with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
Our client is ideally looking to pay c£100k as a basic salary for the ideal individual. Higher offers may be considered for exceptional experience. Salary will be complemented by immediate access to our clients favourable benefits & bonus package too, to boost year on year earnings.
