Tenth Revolution Group have a fantastic new opportunity for a Contractor Payroll Team Leader to join our Central Services team in Newcastle!
As Contractor Payroll Team Leader you will play an integral part of our Business Support back office function, responsible for processing multiple payrolls for our contractors working with our clients.
You will be expected to work to regular deadlines and must be able to use your own initiative and seek to continually improve processes. You will also engage with Sales Consultants and Clients both internally and externally at every level to assist them with queries process contractors pay and invoice our clients.

Daily responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
*Daily and weekly revenue reporting out to Sales business where required.
*Act as first point of escalation on the team to resolve issues;
*Oversee & assist with Timesheet, Payroll and Billing processing; Ensuring 100% accurate entry and maintenance of data;
*Work collaboratively with team members based in different offices and work collaboratively to oversee Service Hub to ensure that we are providing exemplary customer service;
*Work collaboratively with other team members to assess and improve processes to accommodate business growth;
*Provide continued process improvement ideas and take initiative to research updated legislation and compliance requirements;
*Raising Contract specific sales invoices and ensuring receipt by clients.
*Raise payrolls and expense payments in line with SOP’s and Payroll calendars
*Key point of contact escalation for Contractor and Client queries and Customer Care related tasks and follow ups via Service Hub, email, Phone or Face to Face
*Manage the recruitment and onboarding of all new team members
*Conduct escalation meetings, either internally or with external Clients via e-mail, calls or F2F
*Act as a credible deputy in your manager’s absence
*Ability to run all team data and present back to Manager/Director and back to team
*Manage the team & workload day to day
*Run team meetings as appropriate
*Set annual goals, review process with your manager and own the process changes
*A high attention to detail
*Manage SOP’s and assist management in adapting, training and suggesting changes to business processes
Skills and experience we are looking for:
*Must have previous experience running payroll for contractors
*Experience running multiple high volume contractor payrolls
*Compliance focused
*Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word;
*Experience of CRM/ERP systems such as Salesforce and Sage are ideal but not required;
*Confidence in working with multiple languages/countries; second language ideal but not required
The successful candidate will be a perfectionist, paying attention to detail to produce highly accurate results. You will be analytical with an ambition to problem solve and be able to constantly act with professionalism, remaining confidential at all times.
Working in payroll is a time and deadline sensitive role, so you will need to be able to work at pace and with accuracy in order to meet deadlines and be adaptable within a fast paced and changing environment.
