A growing Shoreham-By-Sea organisation are adding a new head into the busy finance team by recruiting a Part Time Assistant Accountant on a permanent basis. This role is flexible over 3/4/5 days for circa 26-30 as long as the correct accounting knowledge is demonstrable.
Description
As Part Time Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for:
*Assist in the preparation Year End accounts compliant with FRS 102 and Companies Act for circa 65 entities in the group.
*Assist in the preparation of Tax computations and CT600’s to accompany the Year End statutory accounts.
*Assist in the quarterly VAT preparation and submission process for circa 20 group entities.
*Support the Financial Accountant with other compliance areas such as R&D, CIS Tax, Office of National Statistics filings, Corporation tax calculations.
*Support in the implementation and development of new ERP system.
*Support in company rationalisation projects.
*Management of CCO and SAO compliance processes.
Profile
*Experience of Statutory Accounts and Corporation Tax
*Strong Excel skill
*Working towards a professional qualification (AAT / ACA / ACCA preferred)
*Experience of Sage 50 and Sage 200
*Experience of Xero
*Experience of working with a group of companies
Job Offer
£33-35,000 FTE
