Homes England is a non-departmental public body and is the Government’s housing and regeneration delivery agency across England. We exist to boost growth through new housing supply and place-based regeneration. We are excited about the next steps in our journey, which will focus on regionalisation and collaborative working with local places and partners.
We are seeking a new Chair to guide and influence the agency at a strategic level, providing confident, clear and consistent leadership, while playing a leadership role across the sector. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that Homes England delivers the mandate set by the Deputy Prime Minister. However, you will be expected to support the Board in bringing expertise, guidance, and challenge to the Chief Executive and the wider executive team.
If you have Chair or Non-Executive experience in a large organisation, and experience of delivering complex projects with local partners on the ground e.g. in housing, regeneration or infrastructure, we would like to hear from you. Strong experience of leadership in a commercial or public sector context, and the ability to communicate an organisation’s objectives to internal and external audiences, are also key.

We want to receive applications from a wide range of individuals, and we are committed to increasing the diversity of Boards across our Arm’s Length Bodies.
