If successful, you will perform the following role as a Conveyancing Assistant
Communicating with clients over the telephone, by email and in face-to-face meetings as part of the Client Facing Legal Assistant Team always providing the highest level of customer service to clients To communicate with and provide updates to other solicitors, estate agents and other professional organisations Carrying out Solicitor and Client Due diligence Requesting Documentation fundamental to the transaction Logging and completing tasks on the case management system Performing general administration tasks Drafting sale contracts and re-mortgage documentation as required Checking the title on a sale Drafting replies to enquiries on sale files Dealing with Lenders on both sale and purchase matters such as requesting redemption statements Drafting completion statements and bills Preparation of files for completion to include, final searches, requests for mortgage advances and liaison with Clients as to receipt of balance funds Obtaining authority to exchange and complete Requesting source of funds information
