ROLE: Part-Time Accounts Assistant
LOCATION: Outskirts of Maidstone
RATE: £12 - £15 per hour
THE COMPANY
A growing construction company operating in the South East of England and London, are looking for a Part-Time Accounts Assistant. This position will be for 2 days a week on an ongoing temporary basis for the foreseeable.
THE JOB
The Part-Time Accounts Assistant role will mainly focus on the input of invoices onto Xero.
Your duties may include:
*Oversee and manage the accounts inbox, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
*Process payments, invoices, income, and receipts with precision.
*Reconcile accounts using Xero, maintaining accuracy and compliance.
*Handle employee expense claims, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
*Strong and recent experience in bookkeeping or accounts position, ideally within an SME environment.
*Experience in inputting of purchase ledger invoices
*Ability to quickly adapt to and learn new software
*Excellent spoken and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
*Experience with Xero
*Good Excel skills
