Job Description:
REED Finance are working with a prestigious and dynamic company to find a Finance Manager / Financial Controller for their Southampton Office.
This company is offering fantastic opportunities for growth development and experience.
Based in central Southampton. This is an on-site role, expecting you to be in office Monday-Friday.
There is parking on-site and ideally situated for public transport.
This is an excellent opportunity for a strong all-round Accountant with experience of all aspects of accounting and reporting.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
As part of the management team, the key responsibilities of this role include:
*Production of monthly management accounts, P&L, B/S and C/F
*Production of cash, revenue and cost reports
*Analysis of variances between actual and forecasted/budgeted performance
*Ensure timely client billing, cash settlement and ledger maintenance
*Bank and Control account reconciliations
*Purchase ledger and payment of suppliers
*Payroll analysis and processing – from bureau reports
*Attend monthly business review meetings
*Ensure finance is run to period-end timetables and all financial records are maintained in an accurate and timely manner
*Produce and analyse annual budgets and monthly forecasts
*Assisting with the annual audit process
IT EXPERIENCE:
Microsoft Office with Excel, Sageline 200
ATTRIBUTES
• Strong accounting skills to final TB
• Accurate, methodical and thorough
• Strong in reconciliation work
