Right Now Group are working with an International Freight Forwarder based in Birmingham, assisting them in their search for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager.

As the Accounts Payable Manager, you will play a central role in our financial operations, championing efficiency, ensuring accuracy, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders. Responsibilities of an Accounts Payable Manager:
*Oversee the accounts payable process, ensuring efficient invoice processing, timely payments, and accurate account reconciliations.
*Lead and coordinate a global back-office team, fostering cross-border collaboration to achieve operational excellence
*Guide, mentor, and empower the accounts payable team, fostering a collaborative environment focused on growth and achieving excellence.
* Regularly communicate with senior leaders and stakeholders, providing updates on operations, team performance, and strategic initiatives

Requirements of an Accounts Payable Manager:
*Possesses in-depth knowledge of accounting principles and processes.
*Demonstrates exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
*Exhibits outstanding communication and influencing abilities, enabling effective collaboration with teams, vendors, and senior management.
*Shows adaptability to shifting priorities and schedules, with a willingness to work overtime or on weekends when necessary.
*3+ Years freight forwarding accounts experience
*Experience in managing an Accounts Payable team.
Salary: £55,000
Location: Birmingham
Shift: Mon-Fri (8.30am-5.30pm)
