Our client, an independent B2B energy supplier is looking for a Commercial Sales Manager to lead and grow a high-performing new business sales team, drive revenue, customer acquisition, and market expansion for their I&C customers. This is a unique opportunity for a proactive Sales Leader with an outstanding sales track record, and history of onboarding new energy customers to a supplier or TPI.

Responsibilities
*Managing a team of Commercial Business Development Managers, driving revenue, customer acquisition and market growth while enhancing strategies to deliver customer value
*Set clear targets and KPIs to inspire, develop and ensure accountability within the team
*Align team efforts with channel goals through strategic planning, providing clear success paths for each member
*Design and implement incentive programs to motivate and reward high performance.
*Define and execute growth strategies, identify expansion opportunities, and collaborate with Commercial teams to refine customer value propositions.

Experience
*Preferred knowledge of the UK energy market, especially within the I&C sector
*Expertise in supporting sales initiatives with a solid grasp of pricing and deal structuring
*Strong track record of building and maintaining client relationships
*Confident and professional, skilled in engaging with internal teams and external clients
*Proven success in leading high-performing new business sales teams
*A proactive team player with natural leadership abilities, dedicated to supporting and developing team members
*Analytical mindset, experienced in using metrics and data to drive business decisions
