Trainee Conveyancer

Up to £30,000 p.a. depending on experience (I will search up to £34k p.a. but won’t advertise that salary)

We are seeking a talented Trainee Conveyancer to join our client’s dynamic team on a permanent basis. As a key member of the firm, you will play a crucial role in supporting with Residential Conveyancing matters, ensuring the smooth progression of property transactions. This is an exciting opportunity to become an integral part of their renowned legal practice and contribute to the firms continued success.

Trainee Conveyancer Duties 
*Support the conveyancing team in managing a diverse caseload of residential property transactions
*Engage with clients, estate agents, and other solicitors to facilitate the conveyancing process with professionalism and efficiency
*Contribute to the overall success of the conveyancing caseload by providing exceptional support and management of the caseload
*Open and close files
*Deal with AML requirements
*Issue initial letters to clients 
*Draft contracts and TR1
*Complete SDLT applications
*Prepare LR applications
*Deal with correspondence post exchange and on completion
*No Audio required
Preferred Requirements of Trainee Conveyancer:
*Demonstrable experience working in a busy Conveyancing department
*Strong knowledge of conveyancing procedures, including the ability to draft contracts and manage post-exchange matters
*Excellent communication skills with the capability to liaise effectively with clients
*Must live in Enfield North London, Waltham Cross, Waltham Abbey, Potters Bar, Barnet or close surrounding areas
*Have fast and accurate typing skills, ideally 65-70 wpm – there is not Audio typing in this role
*Proficient in using Microsoft Word
*Must be organised with an excellent telephone manner
*Ability to prioritise and manage workload efficiently, demonstrating a keen eye for detail and accuracy
Preferred Qualifications of Trainee Conveyancer:
*Qualifications such as a CILEX or relevant paralegal certification or LLB, LLM or LPC Graduates who are looking to qualify will be considered
*Understanding of the regulatory frameworks governing conveyancing transactions in the UK
