Job Description:
Position: Mechanical Inspector
Location: Islington, London
Salary: £30 - £35
Service Area: Housing Property Services
The Role:
*The Mechanical Inspector role is to Inspect and monitor mechanical works to ensure compliance and quality.
*Maintain detailed site diaries and documentation.
*Provide technical advice on engineering solutions, specifications, and maintenance requirements.
*Ensure projects adhere to health and safety standards, statutory regulations, and budget constraints.
*Liaise with stakeholders, attend meetings, and assist in preparing technical reports.
The Candidate:
*HNC in Building Services Engineering or equivalent, or a recognized apprenticeship with relevant experience.
*Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including gas installations and communal heating.
*Experience in inspection, project management, and contractor supervision.
*Excellent communication and technical reporting skills.
*Familiarity with statutory regulations, codes of practice, and British Standards.
