This role sits within our Public Sector FM business division that provides Cleaning, Catering, Facilities Management, Hard Services, Pest Control and Security services to a wide range of prestigious clients, within the Healthcare and Education market.

About The Role:
Days of Working: Monday to Friday
Shift Pattern: 08:30am to 16:30pm
As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
*To transfer patients in a safe and appropriate manner to and from the wards, theatres and departments via means of walking, wheelchair, stretcher and beds.
*To help distribute drugs from pharmacy to wards/departments.
*Remove equipment from wards/departments as required.
*Removal of clinical and nonclinical waste and laundry from all areas as required.
*To accept linen deliveries, check and store correctly in designated areas. Stamp linen as requested by the Domestic services Manager. Prepare linen trolleys for delivery to all areas as per agreed stock levels.
The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:
*Must have Right to Work in the UK.
*An enhanced DBS will be completed for the successful candidate.
*Basic literacy skills.
*Manual handling training.
*COSHH awareness.
*Medical gas safety experience.
*Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
