Job Description:
An exciting opportunity to join a growing accountancy practice in Leicester as an Audit Manager. You will manage a diverse portfolio of audit clients, including owner-managed businesses, corporate entities, and not-for-profit organisations. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will deliver exceptional client service, oversee engagements, and lead a motivated team.
Key Responsibilities
*Act as the main client contact, maintaining strong relationships and regular communication.
*Oversee the financial performance of a portfolio of audit clients, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
*Develop an in-depth understanding of clients’ businesses and identify opportunities for additional services.
*Lead and mentor the audit team, providing feedback and fostering development.
*Ensure compliance with risk management and quality control procedures.
*Represent the firm at marketing events and contribute to its growth by identifying new business opportunities.
About You
*ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent experience) with significant audit experience.
*Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, Company Law, FRS 102, and ISAs.
*Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills.
*Proactive, solutions-focused, and committed to high-quality client service.
*Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle for occasional travel.
