Job Description:
This is a post for a full-time Locum Clinical Fellow (SpR / ST3+ level) to be based in a London NHS Trust in the department of Haematology for 12 months with the option of participating in the on-call rota.
The post holder will work as an integrated part of the Haematology team at an ST3+ level supporting the in-patient, day unit and outpatient services across both malignant and non-malignant Haematology under the supervision of the consultant team. You will rotate through work within all subspecialties including times spent providing a referral / consultative service and a diagnostic laboratory service. You will be required to manage and review patients in the outpatient and in-patient setting.
Essential Requirements:
*MBBS or equivalent
*MRCP (UK/I) or equivalent
*Understanding of and adherence to the principles of Good Medical Practice set out by the General Medical Council
*Ability to work as an effective member of a multidisciplinary team
*Appropriate experience and competence in common medical interventions
