Level 2 Teaching Assistant - Hillingdon
We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and dynamic SEN school team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting students with diverse educational needs, helping them to learn, develop, and achieve their full potential.
Job Description:
*Provide direct support to students with special educational needs, working closely with class teachers and other educational professionals
*Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and supporting personalized learning strategies
*Help create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
*Support students with personal care needs, mobility, and daily living skills
*Participate in lesson preparation and classroom management
*Provide one-to-one and small group support to students
*Contribute to the development of teaching resources and learning materials
*Maintain accurate and confidential student records
*Support students’ social and emotional well-being
Essential Requirements:
*Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
*Experience working with children with special educational needs
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Patience, empathy, and a positive, nurturing approach
*Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
*Good physical fitness and stamina
*Enhanced DBS check (we will support the application process)
*Additional SEN-specific training or qualifications
