About the Role

Contract Duration : 6 months.
As a member of the IT Care Team, you will be first point of call for all things IT, triaging and troubleshooting Incidents through to resolution where possible. As well as Fulfilling IT Service Requests in line with customer expectations, owning assigned requests through to satisfactory resolution and closure.
You will be responsible for builds, device configuration and set ups of equipment for new starters and employees, ensuring access is managed securely. Providing IT education and training as part of the on-boarding process, whilst driving quality through all aspects of support.
In this role you will capture and record appropriate and relevant technical information within the Service Management toolset
You will assist with identifying trends and taking proactive steps to eliminate future demand through seeking opportunities to improve service.
You will be required to contribute to the continual service improvement of the IT Care services, seeking input from the business and developing and implementing plans to deliver service improvements, documenting knowledge and new learnings and sharing insight with the team to contribute towards continual service improvements
About You
The successful candidate will have strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills and experience in identifying trends as well as fulfilling requests against user expectations.
You will be Self-motivated, and results focused, someone who takes the initiative to drive disciplined delivery of objectives, with strong interpersonal skills and able to build and maintain positive working relationships.
You will have demonstrable experience of influencing business and IT stakeholders at all levels, powered by your excellent communication skills.
Ideally the candidate will have a basic understanding of the ITIL framework or have experience working in an ITIL environment.
You may also have knowledge of ITSM tools (Service Now), although this is not essential.
