Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for a Compliance Training Manager on behalf of one of the world’s leading law firms.
The newly created role will be based in the busy London office, and work as part of the Global Learning & Development team.
The Compliance Training Manager will focus on professional development, partnering with key stakeholders to assess training needs and promote the development initiatives, designing and developing the risk & compliance framework and the annual training plan.
Responsibilities will include:
*Providing legal and compliance expertise to the L&D team.
*Supporting digital learning solutions for compliance needs.
*Utilising and enhancing the LMS.
*Identifying training needs and preparing the budget.
*Developing and implementing ad hoc compliance/mandatory training requests.
*Organising and delivering training.
*Implementing training frameworks and creating/leading on strategic compliance programmes.
*Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with all stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
*Keeping up to date with developments in law and compliance.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a training professional to join a thriving team. Suitable applicants will be degree educated and have amassed prior experience of designing & implementing legal and compliance training in a law firm or professional services environment. Experience in an L&D role, encompassing learning design, training delivery and learning technology is crucial in order for the successful applicant to be able to hit the ground running. Experience as a practising lawyer would be advantageous.
The successful Compliance Training Manager will have excellent communication & presentation skills, demonstrate a global mindset, be a committed team player, possess excellent project management skills, and adopt a client-centric approach.
